Machine Gun Kelly was born Colson Bakker. He is an American rapper that has seen a rapid success due to his manner and ability to play. MGK is well-known for his lyrical style that is fast-paced which earned him the stage name Machine Gun Kelly. He began rapping in high school and has gained a local following quickly through several mixtapes. The "stamp of approval" was his breakthrough mixtape released in the year 2006. It was well-received by many. This mixtape by MGK was a massive success and gave him courage to embark on a new career in the music industry. He went on to release four mixtapes in several years. The career of the artist exploded in 2011 after signing a contract with Bad Boy, and Interscope Records. Following that, his debut lacing up album debuted. It received an enthusiastic acceptance from critics. The album was released at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, with popular songs such as Wild Boy (with Stereo), Invincible (with Stereo) and Hold on. General Admission was his next studio album.
