Emily Mortimer
Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actor who is also famous for her significant contribution to Hollywood film. Mortimer is a theatre graduate with a remarkable legacy boasts a humble personality. She appeared in 'Mary Poppins Returns' which was a sequel to 1964's cult classic musical 'Mary Poppins. This film marked an achievement for Mortimer. She played a quirky French assistant in the "The Pink Panther' along with an ambitious, headstrong news producer in 'The Newsroom. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith on 1 December 1971 to famous barrister and writer Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop, was the daughter of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily is a plethora of siblings. Her father was in a previous relationship with Penelope Fletcher, who was her half-sister. Her younger sister is called Rosie. There is also a half-brother called Ross Bentley, from her father's friendship with actor Wendy Craig. Mortimer went to the St Paul's Girls' School (London) where she studied. Following her graduation at Oxford University in 1994 where she was a student of English in Lincoln College and Russian, she attended Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School for acting classes.
