Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo in the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her life, including attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. After she had converted to Judaism the couple renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second son was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk told fans of the show her good information that she was pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous following on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
